The “Future Resources” symposium will be held for the fourth time in Cologne on 9 November – and is being hosted for the first time by the new Interseroh+ GmbH together with the German Packaging Institute (dvi). Under the motto “Time for the facts!”, the organisers expect a lively discussion between experts from the trade, the consumer goods industry and the recycling sector.
While the German Packaging Institute is generally well-known, Interseroh+ is a newly founded company. The background is a new concept of its parent company, which – as of next year – aims to offer new possibilities for companies that want to take responsibility themselves for closing the recycling and raw material cycles, beyond their legal obligation to licence packaging. This closes the circle to the event motto “Time for the facts!”.
The aim of the event is to provide fresh input for packaging designers with regard to easily recyclable packaging and innovative approaches. In addition to representatives of the German Packaging Institute and Interseroh plus, futurologists such as Matthias Horx, experts for the evaluation of life cycles such as Benedikt Kauertz (ifeu) and practical implementers such as Alfred Ritter GmbH will be providing insights into their findings and experiences.
