The second edition of the Biobased Coatings Europe Online Series will take place on Wednesday 19 May 2021. The two-hour event aims to provoke and nurture a lively discussion about the latest developments in the field of biobased coatings. During the event, market leaders will therefore be presenting their product developments and subsequently taking part in a personal Q&A session. The organiser has also planned various virtual networking opportunities.

The objective of the Biobased Coatings Europe Online Series is to offer a format that is as close to an in-person event as possible, while offering numerous possibilities for gaining industry insights and networking with peers. In order to encourage this, the event has been organised as a series of editions at which the participants regularly meet and gradually establish relationships. With this in mind, participants have the option to directly book several events and thereby benefit from discounted ticket prices.

The format topics include perspectives for the European market, sustainability in all its facets and, of course, successful marketing strategies. The series kicked off in late April with a presentation held by Sjaak Griffioen, Director Innovation, Sustainability and Strategy, DSM Resins & Functional Materials. This was followed, of course, by a personal Q&A session and free networking time. As Director Innovation, Sustainability and Strategy, his goal is to drive economic prosperity, environmental and social progress in order to create sustainable value for all stakeholders of DSM Resins & Functional Materials.
