With its new key theme for 2022, “Transition in packaging”, this year’s FACHPACK is devoted to the changing and intensifying demands currently impacting the packaging industry. Sustainability is not only being demanded by national and international law, but also by consumers – leading to profound changes in the packaging industry.

This orientation is reflected in all programme items and offerings at the trade fair. For example, in the PACKBOX and TECHBOX forums, which address issues of sustainability, design, recycling, digitalisation and automation, presentations will focus in particular on the key theme “Transition in packaging”.

The special show “Transition in Packaging By Design” in Hall 7 aims to offer a further in-depth examination of the trade fair’s focus topic. In particular, it will highlight the opportunities for packaging design arising from social change processes.
