The 16th European Bioplastics Conference will be held as a hybrid event this year on 30 November and 1 December 2021. Participants will therefore have the choice to either attend the event in Berlin or to experience it online.

As one of the most important industry associations for bioplastics, European Bioplastics aims to highlight and represent the interests of all players along the entire value chain at its annual conference. This objective has once again resulted in a cross-industry programme that brings together policymakers, researchers and the private sector to discuss a wide range of topics.

The spectrum is correspondingly broad: from the contribution that bioplastics can make to the EU‘s Green Deal, to biodegradable or compostable bioplastics, to the use of bioplastics in packaging. In addition to these main focal points, various industry leaders will be presenting forward-looking and trendsetting bio-plastic applications. All in all, conference participants can once again look forward to a wide range of speakers from the worlds of politics, interest groups, science and organisations.

The conference will be rounded off by an exhibition dedicated exclusively to the topic of bioplastics, which will not only present the latest research but also provide illustrative real-life examples.
